Privacy Policy
This is a template. Review it (ideally with a lawyer) and adapt it before relying on it.
This policy explains what Getpaid stores and why. Getpaid is run by Getpaid (preview), who is responsible for your data.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and a hashed password (never the password itself).
- Your students and their payers: names, email addresses and any other details you enter, such as rates and notes.
- Your lessons: dates, lengths, rates and weekly schedules.
- Your invoices: numbers, dates, line items, amounts and payment status.
- Your business settings, such as your business name, address and payment instructions shown on invoices.
- Email addresses left on the early-access form.
Where it is kept
Everything is kept in one SQLite database on Getpaid (preview)'s server. A session cookie keeps you logged in; we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
What we do with it
We use your data only to run Getpaid for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
Payments
If paid subscriptions are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored by Getpaid. Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy.
Export and deletion
To get a copy of your data, or to have your account and data deleted, email [Your contact email]. We will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app.
